HCG Cabbage Rolls
TweetThe HCG diet plan has had very few changes made since it was first worked out by Dr Simeon’s in the 1950’s. He had listed out a number of fruits, meats & vegetables that were permitted during the HCG diet & the specific portions for each meal. No deviations are allowed in this diet plan & no substitutions. Dieters ask all the time if they can substitute a fruit or vegetable that has the same calorie value as those on the e list but this should not be done as different foods have different chemical compositions & might slow down the weight loss process.
The HCG diet has such a high success rate because it is a fat free diet. Vegetables, fruits & organic foods cleanse the digestive tract & bring on a healthy glow. Drinking plenty of water is recommended as this also helps to flush the toxins from the body. Cabbage has a good amount of fiber & is also used as a diuretic which means that it can help rid the body of its excess water. HCG cabbage rolls & cabbage steamed with seasonings are a popular dish on many HCG diet menus.
