How To Make Lemon Mousse

Lemon mousse is a delicious dessert savored after meal. It is a simple recipe that can be made with easily available ingredients in your refrigerator and kitchen cabinet. It is a healthy dish that includes low fat and natural ingredients.


Ingredients :

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 c. granulated sugar/ you can use stevia
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp grated lemon zest
  • ½ lemon juice
  • 1 cup cream

Preparation :

  • Take a bowl and whisk, egg yolk, egg white, lemon zest, juice and sugar until you get a nice and thick mixture.
  • Now blend gelatin with 100 ml boiling water and beat it well.
  • Add lemon mousse mixture with the gelatin syrup in another bowl.
  • Beat the cream until it form stiff peaks and spread over the mousse.
  • Set the mousse at room temperature for 20 minutes and pour it to small dessert cups.
  • Garnish with berries like strawberries or raspberries.
