How to Prepare Slow Cooked Chicken Over Leaf Lettuce



Though the recipe takes time for preparation, it’s not so tough. The ingredients are available easily.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of low sodium chicken broth
  • 1-2Tbsp of garlic powder, onion powder
  • 1.5lbs chicken breast, fat trimmed
  • 1tsp turmeric
  • 1 bunch of leaf lettuce, washed and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 cucumber diced
  • 3 Tbsp salsa
  • drizzle of vinaigrette

Directions :

  • Cook chicken with chicken broth and seasonings in slow cooker for 3 hours on high in such a way that these can be flaked easily when done.
  • Divide into portions, 4 servings per pound of chicken.
  • Put lettuce in bowls to make same amount of servings as chicken. Add cucumber, salsa and drizzle vinaigrette over.
